All Packed and Ready To Go!

Whether you are sending a package via the post, by courier or taking your bags on an aeroplane, Protective Packaging Ltd has a supply of products designed to protect your precious items and keep them safe until they arrive at their destination.

In my case, my walking poles have been carefully secured with “bubble wrap” to prevent the sharp points breaking through, they have then been secured to my bag with “shrink wrap” to protect them both and also to avoid anyone  tampering with them until I am re-united with them at the end of my flight to Australia.

I think it might have been a little over the top to ask for Tiltwatch and Shockwatch indicators DSC04144(with the way the baggage handlers sometimes treat our bags at the airports) and since my little case has wheels, I didn’t feel the need to ask for Skidmate Cushions incase it was accidentally dropped.

Whatever your packaging needs, we have a product for you, so contact our Customer Support Department to discuss your requirements.

The Lindow Man – 30 years on

On the 1st of August 1984, a horrific, yet amazing discovery was made on Lindow Moss in the affluent area of Wilmslow, Cheshire.

Pete Marsh, aka Lindow Man, was discovered in a peat bog after being naturally preserved for over 2000 years.  The amazing thing was, after all this time, you could still see his facial features and he still had hair and a beard, after all this time!

A few years ago he was exhibited at The Manchester Museum, and Protective Packaging Ltd were asked to provide barrier foil bags for the preservation of his artefacts whilst in transit.

If you would like to hear more on this story, have a look back at a previous blog created by Caroline Davies, where you can find more information about the discovery.
